The Bank of Hartington is committed to ensuring the highest level of security for your online transactions. To provide you with an extra layer of protection, we have enhanced our Online Banking login process with SecureNow.

What’s new?

• Login Defense: Advanced monitoring to detect and prevent unauthorized access.
• Out-of-Band Authentication: A secondary verification method for an added security check.
• Behavior Analytics: Your login patterns are analyzed to spot any unusual activity.
• Advanced Mobile Authentication: Secure your account with mobile-based verification methods.

How does the new security feature work?

• When logging into online banking, you will receive a message (text or voice) on your phone with a 6-digit code. You will be asked to enter this code to complete the login process on your computer. This feature takes the place of answering security questions when logging into online banking. This feature is also available in the mobile app.

These security features are prompted when you access your account online at certain intervals depending on factors such as your location, your device, the time of day, etc. This two-factor authentication is a required regulatory upgrade. The safety of your account is our utmost priority.
